In our current epoch, a student or practitioner of music, art, language, philosophy, history or theology is often viewed as quaint or passé; unimportant to the future paradigm.
At no time in modern history were the humanities more relevant or needed. Practitioners of the humanities are an inconvenient reminder that technocratic philosophy is unbalanced and incomplete.
